Meet Brittany
Hey there! I’m Brittany. So glad you stopped by!
For over 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people across all stages and walks of life, from children to single parents to veterans to older adults.
Although I only see clients virtually today, my experience includes supporting clients in their homes, in skilled nursing facilities, and in community offices, which has helped me learn how to meet people where they are and tailor care to fit their unique needs.
I have extensive experience treating trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and I frequently work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and adjustment difficulties. I often use cognitive behavioral and relational approaches to help clients move toward their goals.
Outside of my clinical work, I’m a passionate and energetic public speaker. I love to create conversations highlighting the importance of human connection in protecting mental health and healing from life’s hardships. I also provide professional development workshops for organizations with a desire to learn more about mental health.
When I’m not working, I can usually be found crocheting, cross-stitching, baking, or hanging out with my two rescued girls - a 13-year-old lab mix and a 1-year-old Great Dane. I’m a lover of all things nature, especially trees, and I’m often swept away between the pages of a good book.
But maybe the most important thing you need to know about me is simply that I’m a human, just like you, on a never-ending search for glimmers, with an endless desire to make the most out of this challenging but beautiful journey through life.
